VDSL 1

Some years ago in Germany VDSL1 already became specifies, however, it could never really etablish itself. Merely Japen, China and South Korea have purchased several million pipelines.

VDSL1 offers a maximum data signalling rate of 52 MBit/s, however, if the receiver is far fro, the distributor this transference volume decreases.. Already with a distance more than 900 m the transference volume is just 26 MBit/s with a distance more than 2Km you just have the normal ADSL - rates.

Thus it is in provincial towns where mostly only one distributor exists not possible to connect all habitations with the modern bandwidth. Only a certain radius can be covered. According to standard frequency bands are used. DMT or QAM are used as a line code. These both codes are not compatibly, however they offer a comparable achievement.

VDSL1 is used not only for Internet connections. Likewise for the lengthening and/or coupling of Ethernet networks sporadically VDSL1 is used. In the field of vision of the Internet and communication enterprises is the VDSL2-project in Germany.
